My dad cried when he got his copy of
the New Testament. I’ve never seen
him so happy! He hugged the book to
his chest and told me, “Now I can read
God’s Word in my heart language.”
I was confused. “What’s a heart
language, Dad?”
That day I realized that I had been
given the best gift ever. Now I can
read the Bible in my own language,

I speak English at school, I speak
Bwisi at home with my family. When
I dream, it’s in Bwisi. And when I
thought about it, I realized I talk to
God in Bwisi too!
